Hi Nancy and Steve,

Happy Labor Day from Lancaster, Pa and your grand baby EMMA who will be three years old on the 4th. It has been awhile since we have been in touch, but I visit the web site frequently and love keeping up with all your babies. So sorry to hear your Noel passed. Remember her well from our visit.

Wanted to thank you again for our crazy and fun loving dog. I chuckled when I saw the doodle with tissues stuck to his nose. Emma has done the same thing. This breed certainly has personality. Emma when she wants your attention gets down on her forepaws with her rear in the air, barks and then spins around and keeps it up until someone acknowledges her. She loves to be around kids, and elderly. Jack's father recently died and when we take Emma to visit his Mom all the residents are glad for her visits.

She loves going to the beach, and is certainly a water dog whether the ocean or the bay when we go kayaking. No matter where we go on our walks everyone stops us and asks (you know the line) what kind of a dog is that? She loves the attention. Our reply". She is a goldendoodle from Doodlesville in West Virginia, the best breeders you'll find anywhere. From Emma and us Thank you Nancy and Steve!! Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Best wishes
Emma, Pat & Jack Lewicki

Greetings from Springboro, Ohio!

In February of 2003, we drove to your place to pick up our fluffy
bundle of joy!  That weekend, Virginia was expecting an ice storm, so
we met with you and Beau, and shortly afterward, started the 8
hour trek home.  When we arrived in the Dayton area, there was about
10 inches of snow on the ground!  Beau had never been outside, let
alone in a car, but he was a trooper!  He has been the best dog we
have ever owned, and continues to amaze us daily.  He is so wonderful
with our grandchildren, never leaving their sides when they come to
visit.  He travels well, and we have taken him on trips with us all
over the country.  He is always a big hit wherever we go!
We have wanted to tell you how much we have enjoyed our dog, and hope
that everyone who gets their "doodle" from you is as happy as we have
been.  There have been several puppy mills that have sprung up in
Ohio, and they are breeding doodles so fast that it would amaze you.
We still feel that we made the right decision to get our dog from you!

Hi Nan,
We just met Teddy, 8 weeks old, picked up from you on Friday, who now lives behind us on Prospect St. in Westfield, NJ. He is ADORABLE! And he has a wonderful family! Boy, did Clyde give us the once-over when we got  home! He will be so thrilled to have another labradoodle so close by to play with, as soon as Teddy is old enough. Other labradoodles are his favorites to play with (there must be 10 or 12 in town now), followed by boxers, then other labs and retrievers.

Clyde, at 4, is still the best dog EVER! People still stop us to ask
about him. We couldn't begin to consider another breed when the time comes,or getting another dog from anybody else.Clyde: His favorite chair (beats us how on earth he fits into it!) and a more recent one showing what he looks like shorn to 1/2”. Last week Ken used the 1/4” clipper on his body, and he “lost” about 25lbs – what a beautiful body he has! He has lost absolutely none of the “puppyness” - he doesn’t just run, he bounds joyfully, he skips and prances. He has the Doodlesville tilt to his head when listening to you. He doesn’t bark (unless that squirrel in the tree branch right outside the front door is teasing him). He caught a baby rabbit and carried around for a few minutes, then put it down gently, unharmed. He’s fallen in love with the Belgian Griffon next door – I’m terrified he’ll step on her; his foot is bigger than she is! But she’s quick and very good at dodging him. Then when he’s winded, she snuggles up to him and rolls over on her back spread-eagled – and he’s helpless!

I still do check your website pretty regularly
Keep it up!

Greetings Nancy, Steve, and sweet little Laila,

First and foremost I have to thank you for your time and hospitality yesterday.  I was so touched by your love and commitment to these wonderful dogs.  It is clear you have a passion for breeding and finding good homes these beautiful little pups.

Lily's ride home was traumatic I'm sure, but she was a real trooper.  She did get car sick but I was prepared with additional towels and lots of understanding.  She slept the entire plane ride and was such a joy.  She was a BIG hit with the flight attendant who really wanted to hold and play with her.

As you can imagine her entrance into our home was very exciting.  We went in and everyone got to know her.  She is so loved already.  She is a very sweet, gentle and loving puppy.  She did cry most of the night, but we expected that.  She is adjusting quite well and seems very peaceful.  We are giving her time to get to know us and her new surroundings.  You would be very proud of her!

I will keep you posted on Lily's progress and vet report this week.  All my best to you and your family.  We are grateful we found you.  The Russo Family!!!

Hi Nancy,

Hope all is well in Doodlesville! I’ve attached our favorite summer photos…the last one (28) is Zoey watching Casey Lloyd diving into to pool for the ball….Zoey gracefully walks down the steps but Casey flies into the pool. The rest are Zoey in some of her favorite spots in the house (bed, watching out the window from the top of the stairs etc.). Hope you enjoy seeing your babies growing up.

Zoey (Amber/Bailey) is 2 yrs 4 months old now and continues to be a delight. She is just about perfect…. She loves our new king size bed and snuggles up every night. She continues to have daily playdates with Casey and we also see Nikki Mitro often.

Enjoy the fall and I’ll send another batch of photos in a few months…
Hugs, judi and Zoey Croasmun

Hi Nancy and Steve;

I just want to provide an update of the first Labradoodle provided to our service dog training program by Doodlesville Doodles.  We are thrilled to tell you that, Gabriel, is about 1 month away from placement!  He will be placed with an American Veteran of the Iraq war.  We promise to send photos of Gabriel with his partner once we have some available.

A recent photo of Gabriel is attached.
Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to place this incredible animal with someone so deserving.

Dear Nancy & Steve,

I can't believe it has been a week since we brought our puppy home!  We love her dearly.  She is lovely, not only is she smart and beautiful but she has a lovely disposition; very friendly and easy going.. but you knew that already.  After the very first night she seems to have adjusted perfectly and seamlessly to our family and our home.  She is an excellent match to our family.

Not only did we get the right puppy but we got the right breeders!  I learned so much during my orientation and am grateful for all of the invaluable information you provided.  All of the care and time you invested in her early puppyhood are very apparent; even the vet commented on how well socialized she was.  I would be offended if you didn't list me as a reference; especially to prospective families with special needs children.  All of my children adore her.

This photo was taken right after we came home.  I have taken many more photos but this one seems to capture the magic she has brought into our home!

Warm regards,

Heidi Turk 10/07
Hi Nancy So sorry I never kept in touch with you but just looking at old msgs and came across this..We got our puppy... now 1 year 4 month old golden doodle from you last August. Scout was brown ribbon, Amber and Bailey's litter. Anyway he is absolutely the best dog in the world. I know everyone says that but I really know it is the truth... He is the perfect dog for our family. From the beginning everyone we met (trainers, the vet, day care people etc), always said he was so low key and calm..surprisingly so as traditionally doodles are supposed to be hyper and of course our family is very chaotic so he is such a good balance. He is also very smart learned all his commands and walks off leash with no problems. He is of course my baby and extremely attached to me. He follows me everywhere and lays down next to me in the room I am in. He is affectionate and loves to cuddle. Lucky for him he goes on several long walks a day in the woods... I have kept my weight low with all the excercise. He also has lots of doggie friends and plays with one or more of his pals daily.  Anyway I never got a chance to tell you how much we love our Scout and thought you would like to know how well he is doing.  Hope you are well
Sincerely Julie Green 10/07
Hi, hope all is well at Doodlesville.

Give me a minute to rave!  He is the most awesome dog I have ever had.  He is beautiful.  This am at the vet he weighed in at 38 pounds, at just a little over 5 months.

He is a rich chocolate color, a little lighter around the muzzle, with pretty green eyes.  (he looks a lot like your web site with Archie Zinn except he is
chocolate colored.)
He has the most amazing coat.  It is silky soft, curly and absolutely no shedding.

He just completed puppy class and did amazing.  He knows around 15 commands so far and can do 8 tricks.  He has a really sweet disposition, very lovable and very laid back. Even the vet was amazed at how calm he acts.  He has never chewed, doesn't bark or jump. He loves everyone and everything.  The caveat, he was not the easiest dog I had to potty train.  But once we all got on the same page, it worked out.  (with 2 adults and 3 children--maybe it was us that needed to learn  and not Cashus--ha!ha!)

I attribute the awesome dog he is to the great breeder (seriously)  I drop your name often, and am quick to educate the world as to who a "doodle" is.

All right, enough for now, I guess I am done bragging.  He is such a joy and a wonderful addition to our family of 3 active boys. We are so greatful for the opportunity.

Thanks again!

Dear Nancy and Steve

Four years ago today our Buddy was born to Duke and BJ.  It is hard to believe that 4 years have gone by.  Buddy is doing great, he gets many compliments from all who meet him.  We call Buddy our gentle giant.  He still sees himself as the little puppy we brought home.  He has grown into a handsome dog, with the body of his daddy Duke and the height of his mom BJ. He has a beautiful waistline and is very muscular.  Buddy is the best dog ever, thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to be his parents.  I have attached a couple of pictures.

Nancy--Greetings from Spain,

We bought our Golden Doodles from you 4 years ago just before Thanksgiving.  At that time I told you that our doodledawg was going to live on a boat and travel around the world.

Well here we are in Spain having successfully crossed the Atlantic Ocean on the boat in the attached picture.  We were at sea for 25 days crossing from Florida to Bermuda to the Azores and then Gibraltar.

Danforth (Dannie for short), our Goldendoodles has lived our boat "Salty Dawg" since she left your farm and has become well acclimated to life at sea--but she still prefers terra firms to do her business. Danforth is the name of an anchor commonly used on boat so we say that Danforth is going to be our anchor as we travel around the world.
The other picture of Dannie show her drinking out of a 500 year old fountain in Ubeda, Spain.

Dannie has been touring Southern Spain and will continue East next summer with stops planned in Tunisia (Africa), Sicily, Greece and spend next winter in Turkey.  The following year Dannie will visit Cyprus, Israel and Egypt.

There are lots of Dannie pictures on our Website  saltydawg.talkspot.com.

Best of the holiday season to you,

Hello,

Hope all is well at Doodlesville this holiday season!  I just wanted to update you on Barkley (Vanna and Bailey, April 12, 2007) and send you some recent pictures of him!  He's grown into a very, very handsome boy!  Everyone that meets him immediately comments on his manners and his obvious cuteness! (which is a testament to your breeding program!)  The black and white picture I've attached we used as our Christmas card this year....needless to say our family and friends all adored their card!  Everyday he brings us so much happiness and joy, I can't begin to tell you how grateful we are to have Barkley and how happy we are with the experience of adopting our baby through Doodlesville!   He loves to come to work with me at the doggie boutique; he has emerged as the head-taste tester!  So, so, so many people ask me to write down your website because they want their own Goldendoodle, and I make sure to tell them how trustworthy you are as breeders, and even more importantly, how you care for your dogs.  Barkley is living proof to your dedication.  He honestly is the best dog in the world, we can't thank you enough!  We hope you had a Merry Christmas and have a great New Year!

-Mackensie, Jeremy, and Barkley (12/07)

Nancy-

You may not remember me but you sold me a little jet black Labradoodle about 10 weeks old in June of 2007.  My husband and I brought our twin 8-year-old daughters to your home to meet him and take him home.  You may remember that we renamed him Sirius Black after our favorite character in Harry Potter!

I wanted to write and let you know that we could not be happier with Sirius than we are and have been since the day we brought him home.  He is everything your webpage tells us that Labradoodles are, even if some people might think they sound too good to be true.  It is true!  He is the smartest animal we have ever known; he has been sweet and even-tempered with our children since he got in the car to go home with us that first day.  He never cried at night, learned quickly not to "go" in the house and how to communicate his needs to us, almost as if he could speak to us.  He is very well-behaved and responsive to our commands.  He learns "tricks", chores and schedules almost instantly and never has chewed much that doesn't belong to him.  He's the best.  We simply adore him.

I am including two photos of him today; one photo is what I sent to 200 friends and family this Christmas.  I do this to show you how very handsome he is.  We did not have a particular need for a small dog and he is not small, but I did want to let you know that his is generally agreed to be one of the prettiest dogs in Old Town Alexandria, VA.  Few days go by when we are not stopped during a walk so that someone may inquire if he is indeed a Labradoodle and where we got him.  He is poetry in motion, so athletic and strong, but graceful and agile at the same time.  He is considered one of the "nice" dogs at the dog park we visit; one of the ones everyone wants their dog to play with because of his positive, fun-loving nature and good manners.

In short, I just wanted to thank you for the hard work you obviously put in to breeding Sirius and his parents, a jet black first generation Labradoodle and a chocolate brown standard poodle, whom you allowed us to meet the day we picked Sirius up.  You really do know what you're doing and the rules you make so clear on your website are there because you care for your dogs and want only the best for them, as well as for your clients.  Well, I just wanted to let you know that someone appreciates your time and effort.  Job well done!  By the way, if anyone ever asks you for testimonials, please feel free to show them this letter and the photos!

Happy New Year to you and your husband,

Helen Epley 1/08
